My Account

Edit your membership information anytime by accessing the "My Account" link. You can change your e-mail address, details and password.

Please follow the instructions below to edit My Account:

1. If you are not already signed in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. Click on the "My Account" link in the toolbar at the top of the page or click on the sign in button.

To Edit your membership information: Enter the updated information and click "SUBMIT."

To Change your Password: Click the link "Click here to change password

Address Book

Our members can store their friends' information in their own Address Book. Please follow the instructions below to access this feature.

1. If you are not already signed in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. At the top of the screen click "Address Book" on the toolbar.

To ADD a contact:

1. Click the link "Add New Contact" .
2. Enter the name and contact information 
3. Click "SUBMIT" to store the information in your Address Book.

To EDIT a contact:

1. Click edit icon or click on the email link.
2. You will see the full contact information for that person displayed.
3. Click "SUBMIT" to save your changes.

To DELETE a contact:

1. Click the box to the left of the contact you want to delete.
2. Click the link "Delete Selected" . You can delete 2 or more contact name at once.
3. You can click icon to delete contacts one by one

To send a eCard using your Address Book:

1. Choose a card you would like to send
2. At step "Personalize your card" your Address Book will appear on the left side.
3. Click contact name to insert that contact to Recipient name and email fields

Calendar

All your stored Reminders, special events and holidays can be viewed on your Calendar. Plan your schedule and send eCard by clicking on the Reminder or Holiday, which will link you to the applicable eCard category page.

Please follow the instructions below to access the Calendar:

1. If you are not already signed in, Sign in using your user ID and password
2. Click on the "Calendar" link in the Members toolbar at the top of the page.

To ADD a new Event:

1. Choose the date on the Calendar table and click on it.
2.Enter the Event name, date, notes and click "SUBMIT".
 
To EDIT an existing Event:
 
1. Click on the "Reminders" link in the Members toolbar at the top of the page
2. Click on icon Edit right of the event you would like to change.
3. Edit the information and click "SUBMIT".

To DELETE an existing Event:

1. Click on the "Reminders" link in the Members toolbar at the top of the page
2. click the box to the left of the Reminder you want to delete.
3. Click "Delete Selected". You can delete 2 or more Reminder names at once.
4. You can click icon to delete items one by one

Create your eCard album

On Holiday or just back from vacation? Have you got fantastic new photos in your digital camera? Wouldn't you like to send them as Postcards? Just follow the steps below.

1. If you are not already signed in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. Click on the "My Album" link at the top of the page
3. Follow the instructions to create your own album eCard

Email Reminder

Our Reminder Notification service is a convenient way to remember all the important dates in your busy life!

Please follow the instructions below to access this feature:

1. If you are not already signed in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. Click on the "Reminders" icon at the top of the page.

To ADD a new reminder:

1. Click "Add New Reminder" link.
2. Enter the appropriate information and click "SUBMIT".

To EDIT an existing reminder:

1. Click on the "Reminders" link at the top of the page
2. Click on "Edit" link (next to your Reminder Note) of the event you would like to change.
3. Edit the information and click "SUBMIT".

To DELETE an existing reminder:

1. Click the box to the left of the Reminder you want to delete.
2. Click "Delete Selected" button. You can delete 2 or more Reminder names at once.

My Favorites

You can store your favorite eCards in one convenient location so that you can easily send them to your friends any time.

Please follow the instructions below to access My Favorites:

1. If you are not already signed in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. Choose your favorite greeting card. Click on the "+Add To My Favorite" link, which is located at the top right corner of every eCard. Your eCard has been added to "My Favorites"

To SEND a eCard from My Favorites:

1. Click on the "My Favorites" icon at the top of the page.
2. Click on the eCard you would like to send.
3. Personalize the card and send it!

To REMOVE an eCard from My Favorites:

1. Click on the "My Favorites" icon at the top of the page.
2. Click "Remove" right below the eCard you would like to delete from My Favorites.

eCard History

Our members can view all eCards sent in the past 30 days. Members also have the option to view or cancel eCards that are scheduled to be delivered at a future date (i.e. hasn't been sent yet).

Please follow the instructions below to access eCard History:

1. If you are not already signed in, Sign in using user ID and password
2. Click on the "Card History" link in the Members toolbar at the top of the page.

To VIEW a card: Click on "View" next to the eCard (or the thumbnail picture) you wish to view.

To CANCEL delivery of a card that is scheduled to be sent:

1. Click on the "Card History" link in the Members toolbar at the top of the page
2. Click the "Cancel" link next the card that you do not want delivered.

Some of our eCards use Flash - Please install Macromedia Flash Player in order to view them correctly. Click here to download the latest Flash Player. Don't worry, this is not difficult nor will you get bugs. Having a Flash Player will enhance your internet enjoyment immensly and open up a whole new world to you. (Arty Farty Shrew would die without Flash!)

How to send an eCard Return to Top


Start by visiting our website at http://www.shrewonline.com/ecards. Select a category from which to send an eCard. Browse through our eCards and choose the one you would like to send.

Step 1: click on the thumbnail or the view full size button.

If this is not what you want then click button "More Cards" to go back and choose a different one. When you have selected an eCard you can add a different backdround, special effect and a stamp by clicking on click here for more options button. Select the background, effect or stamp you would like. When you are happy with the way the eCard looks click on "PERSONALIZE & SEND" button.

Step 2: Personalize Your eCcard

Fill in all the required information, including the recipient's name and email address, and a personalized message. Then click on either the "Preview eCard" button to preview the eCard and click on the edit button to make any necessary changes.When you are happy with your eCard simply click the "Send Now" button to send the card

How to pickup an eCard Return to Top


You will receive an email stating that someone has sent you a postcard. In the email message, there should be a web page link (URL) which you can click on to automatically receive your eCard. Or you can copy and enter the eCard Number provided with the email on our eCard pick-up page at: http://www.shrewonline.com/ecards/index.php?step=pickup

How to print an eCard Return to Top


When you open your ecard there is a link above the card that reads Print this Ecard
Click on this link and a box will open saying - In order to print the contents of this ecard you must select Browser Option Print Background (color and images).
To find this go to the top tool bar and select file - page set up - format and options.
In this box choose the correct orientation (landscape or portrait) shrink to fit the page width and check the box that has select colors and images.
Next select file -print, from here you can set your own printer functions.
For best results we suggest you use a glossy photo paper and high quality printer settings.

I sent a card but the recipient says it never arrived Return to Top


If a recipient says that a card you sent was never delivered, the first thing to check is whether your card has been sent. You can check this by logging on to shrewonline.com and clicking the HISTORY option in the top menu. (Note you must log on first or this option will not be availlable.)

If the card is listed as having been sent, then you can be sure that it has left our server. The next thing to check is whether you received a non-delivery report concerning that card. When a card (or any email) is sent, the responsibility for the delivery lies with the recipient's mailserver and if for any reason they are unable to deliver the mail, they will send a non-delivery report to the sender explaning why.

If you never received a non-delivery note, then it is almost certain that the card was in fact delivered to your recipient's mailbox. It is almost unheard of for a recipient's mailserver to refuse to deliver a card without sending a non-delivery notice back to the sender.

However, just because the card was delivered to the recipient's mailbox doesn't mean the recipient will have seen it! Many mail services include spam filtering facilities which will file suspect mail in a "quarantine" area, or even simply delete it.Sometimes these files can be found in a 'bulk folder' or in the 'spam folder'. It may pay to send an normal email to your friend or family member informing them that you have sent an ecard and to check these folders.

Another possibility is that the e-mail address you entered was incorrect - but was actually the correct address of someone else altogether! That would explain why you did not receive a non-delivery notice.

If none of the above circumstances seem to explain the situation, and you've tried re-sending the card and still received no non-delivery reports, please contact us. Please give as much detailed information as you can, including the email address of the person to whom you sent the card.
